Sunday, May 20, we celebrate Pentecost, with a dramatic reading from Acts 2, the choir sings “Whom Shall I Fear”, we blow bubbles outside as a symbol of the Spirit wind, and we’ll be preparing CWS Hygiene Kits for disaster areas around the world. We still need hand towels (15″ X 28 to 16″X32″, no microfiber or dishcloths), standard size band aids, toe or finger nail clippers, bath-size bars of soap in wrappers and wide-tooth combs.
Here’s a great holiday service opportunity for you, your family, your friends, your office, etc. Help replenish the supply of hygiene kits for disaster areas. We’re collecting the contents for CWS hygiene kits which are sent to disaster areas in the U.S. and around the world. You may drop off any of the kit contents (see below) at Knox.
On Sunday, Dec. 10, 11 a.m. we’ll have a kit-assembly celebration in Fellowship Hall.
