On the Day of Pentecost we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit descending in a mighty rush of wind and flame to inspire the church’s proclamation of Christ’s rising and to empower its mission and ministry to the world. We wear red to worship on Pentecost Sunday as a symbol of the flame at the birth of the church.
We will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
This Sunday, April 30, we welcome Rev. Karen Chamis, Director of Congregational Development and Mission for our National Capital Presbytery.

Maundy Thursday – Supper and Program, April 13 @ 6:30 pm

Easter Sunday Worship – April 16 @ 10:15 am
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead during our worship service at 10:15 am on Easter Sunday. During fellowship time after the worship service, children (and adults) will dye hard boiled eggs that will be delivered to a homeless shelter.
Once a month, Knox Presbyterian Church celebrates communion together during the Sunday worship service. We celebrate the sacrament via intinction: this method of serving communion involves dipping a piece of broken bread into the grape juice so as to take both elements together.
Remember, being grateful is a lifestyle choice. The Women of Knox will lead the worship service at Knox Presbyterian on March 26. We will celebrate our gratefulness, especially for the women who came before us and paved the way. Give thanks with a grateful heart! All are welcome.
