"Public Reading of Scripture"

A class and workshop on the topic of the public reading of Scripture in the worship service is the Learning for Life class after the worship service.  It will be based on 1 Timothy 4: 13 which says, "Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching."

Included topics are solo reading, reading two by two, family Bible readers, responsive readings, memorized presentations, and developing better listening skills.  The class will last about six weeks.  We'll have a taped presentation and a time to work creatively on upcoming Scripture readings.
