Knox Presbyterian Church periodically holds Faith in Action Days to complete group service and work projects around the church.  Projects have included:

• planting a native plant butterfly garden to provide pesticide free nectar sources for pollinators,
• weeding and mulching at Thomas Jefferson Library,
• making brownies and assembling snack kits for the local homeless shelter,
• assembling hygiene kits and school kits with distribution worldwide for Church World Service, and
• creating greeting cards with stamped envelopes for veterans to send to their families and friends.

Sometimes there have been church cleaning projects as well.
