Knox Preschool
Opening as a licensed preschool in January 2027
The school
For several years Knox has run a small preschool downstairs, directed by Kathleen Petrey. The only thing holding it back was the building. This year we renovated the lower level to meet state licensing standards, and in January 2027 the preschool opens with room to grow to 30 or 40 children.
For every family
Our teachers speak English and Spanish. The preschool is for every family in the neighborhood, including those who can’t pay full tuition, so we raise scholarship money every year. We’ve raised $25,000 in scholarships for the first year.
